About Us

Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation formed to provide services and support to education through CESA-wide activities in the state of Wisconsin. As an active partner, CESA Foundation serves as fiscal agent and cooperative partner to the above educational programs. The Foundation allows for private and corporate donations to assist in these program-worthy causes.

What are CESAs?

Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESAs) make it possible for schools, regardless of size, to work together to share staff and equipment, save money, and extend educational opportunities to all corners of the state and to all children. Each of the 12 CESAs serves the special and unique needs of schools and children in a particular area of Wisconsin. They do so without mandates, without levying taxes and with virtually no direct state appropriations.

How your support is put to work

Champion Games Event

This annual CESA 3 event is a
unique opportunity for special
education and disabled students,
along with a non-special education
peer, to participate in a track and
field meet. This event not only
allows for physical activity, but
also promotes interaction between
students of varying disabilities
throughout Southwestern
Wisconsin. Over 1,200 students,
volunteers, and chaperones
participate each year.

Friends of Fallen Timbers

Fallen Timbers is an
environmental center located near
Seymour, WI owned by six area
school districts and operated by
CESA 6. The educators at Fallen
Timbers provide hands-on
learning opportunities for students
from six area consortium school
districts. Nearly 16,000 students
(K-12) are serviced annually,
through hands-on curriculum
developed by Fallen Timbers staff
and teacher curriculum teams.
